“We need to be in there now, while we’re still fresh and open and fearless and bold”, Michelle Obama said to Vanity Fair last December, according to the latest edition of Newsweek. What she may have failed to consider in her own self-assessment was, while she is “fresh, open, bold and fearless” is she also, at the same time, willing to accept valid, legitimate criticisms when she says something that annoys and shocks the public? Her answer to that

John Muir is considered the first modern preservationists. He was born on April 21, 1838 in Dunbar, Scotland. Even as a youth, nature called to Muir. He was fascinated by the smallest motions, whether it is a mouse or a bird crossing the sky. His self-described adventures as a child included hunting for the wonders of nature.

Imagine this scenario next January 1st: you don’t make a New Year’s resolution to lose weight-because you haven’t gained any!
Come January 1, most people look back on the last month or so of happy indulgence with a tinge of scale-based regret. Well, there’s a new scientific study that offers a no-exercise, no-dieting way to not gain weight over holidays-and maybe stay trimmer all year round.

Supposedly it is between state rights and federal rights, but these two broad concerns overlap and offer no strict guidelines for discerning the differences. Story after story have been told of horrors of misery and pain. “I desperately need help!” an elder from Boston complained to his physician. In Orlando, Florida a mother of two found herself stricken while bending over to make up a bed she related that “…inch by inch I
